GOD DAMNIT!

I was spending the weekend at the shore when I got a call from my mother to ask what the peep-noise was that my server (proken) makes. It took me a while to explain that it was not my server but the UPS. It made a lot of noise the whole day long, which told me there was something seriously wrong with the power. A few hours later I got another call, no more power. Nothing. The electrician came over and told my parent that they were lucky the whole house didn’t burn down. The fuses in basement were sparkling and were about to catch fire. Anyway, we need to change those fuses
This means that my uptime record is fubarred. I think I got about 102 or 103 days. Too bad.
I told my dad the fusebox was making a lot of strange noises (you know, the electricity-noise) a few weeks ago, but he told me that was normal.

Told ya so.

Your a lot luckier in that respect.

The fuses and entire meter box in my building burnt down and we had a major fire.
