Gumball 3000 in Belgium!

Yesterday was awesome. We drove 82km to Acoz (a little town near Charleroi in Belgium) because the Gumball 3000 race was passing there. The racers were going to spend the night at the Castle of Acoz (Chateau d’Acoz), but there was no way to reach it for us, the roads were blocked and there was people everywhere.
The racers were expected between 11pm and 2am, and they estimated about 3.000 visitors would come to Acoz. Well, they were wrong, we were 10 of the 15.000 visitors, and Acoz was flooded by cars.
The cops were prepared though, 70.000 vehicles were checked, 7.000 of them were speeding (51 Gumballers) and 21 had to pay their tickets right away. 18 people had their driverslicence revoked, and some were speeding at over 220 km/h (which is pretty slow for Gumballers).
We were there, we took some pictures and filmed a bit. I’ll post ‘em soon.

dude one gumballer did 185 and one did 180, the car that went 220 was in Lummen and it was not a racer.
The gumballers were warned that there were gonna be speed checks so they didn’t drive that fast. Also, Kimble isn’t in the race which explains why no-one went faster than 185
The chateau at Acoz was only a checkpoint, they were then expected to arrive at Prague, from as early as 9 AM.
But it was a breeze, that’s for sure
