Smiling is infectious
You can catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today
I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner
And someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized
I’d passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile,
Then I realized its worth.
A single smile just like mine
Could travel round the world.

So, if you feel a smile begin,
Don’t leave it undetected,
Let’s start an epidemic quick
And get the world infected!

Ik ben er niet zeker van. Het kan ook “toen besefte ik dat het het waard is” betekenen, ipv “toen besefte ik zijn waarde”. Ik heb het gecopy-paste van ergens anders, maar enkel de auteur weet uiteraard of het nu it’s of its moet zijn. Ik twijfel.

Hoewel ik op google meer hits heb voor ’smiling is infectious “it’s worth”‘ dan de its versie geef ik u het voordeel van de twijfel. Het lijkt logischer.
